Brown blind-stamped faux leather boards. No title or copyright pages. Majority of the book appears to have been a scrapbook and has color prints of everything from famous paintings to historical scenes, antiques, furnishings, architecture, archaeology, and fashion pasted in (several one to a page illustrations) . At the end of the book is page 143 & 144 which have no beginning nor end...just text, continued from something? Last page has handwritten "finis". It is an unusual "book", seemingly "bound" (for lack of a better word) circa turn of the 9th century, for what purpose is a mystery to me but is nonetheless fascinating. Images available upon request. Extremities worn, previous owner's name. ; Small 4to - 9" to 11" tall; 144 pages; 20068
