Description of views title page verso and rear free endpaper. The views are 6" by 9" color illustrations ( one to a page, glued in top corners to the black pages) of Colorado Springs; Zebulon M. Pike; The Antlers Hotel; Gateway to the Garden of the Gods; Cathedral Spires; The Balanced Rock; Manitou, Colorado; Williams Canon; Ute Pass; A View From St. Peter's Dome; Bruin Inn; Ascending Pike's Peak; The Half-Way House; Snow-banks on Cog Road; Summit of Pike's Peak; Pike's Peak from Colorado Springs; The Royal Gorge; How the Altitude Affects some people in Colorado; Cheyenne Mountain; Stratton Park Lake; Eagle Rocks; Pillars of Hercules; Seven Falls; Upper Seven Falls. Old scrapbook-like book bound with a string. Time has not been very kind because the edges are curled and worn and the title page and rear free endpaper (the only pages which have text) are loose but present. The brown paper covers are chipped and folded, the inside black construction-type pages are less chipped and folded but several are loose or almost loose since the string binding it together is coming apart. All illustrations are still very good. Front cover has raised letters for the title and a picture of a Colorado sunset. The lower right corner of this picture is torn off. ; Color ; Oblong 8vo 8" to 9" tall; 45 pages; 22679
